Distant family friends, to acquaintances, to friends. In the span of two years, our relationship went through all of these changes. The biggest change of all happening when a friend suggested we go to the youth formal together.

From that moment on, we were inseparable. Quiet and timid first, as we found our groove and comfortability. Soon enough, quiet and timid became harmonious and familiar. Fun and easy. Easy flow of conversation, easy laughter, easy bond.

Feelings developed, and we committed ourselves to the process. Sticking it out, side by side, through thick and thin. And 4 years later, we get to share the same last name!
